Lavender Citrus Deodorant

Love all their porducts!

I just recently switched to using their all natural deodorant and I am hooked. At first I was hesitant I wouldn’t like it because it’s not antiperspirant and I work in the heat for my job so I sweat a lot but after a few days of using it I adjusted and now I don’t even really feel sweaty and I have never smelled while using this either which I love. It also doesn’t leave those pesky white stains on your clothes. I highly recommend it. I received a sample of the coffee polish facial scrub in my order as well and that will def be my next purchase. ;) I’ve never been disappointed with Skinbalmapothecary products. :)

Awesome deodorant

I’ve been trying natural deodorants for years but couldn’t find anything I loved (or something that didn’t end up irritating my sensitive skin) and then I found this. You still sweat in extreme heat, but you don’t smell.

Over time I notice my body adjusted and I don’t sweat as easily as I used to. In fact this morning I was outside with the kids- it was hot and humid- and I realized I forgot to put deodorant on at all… but I was hardly sweating and I didn’t smell. I call that a win! Hormone wise I tend to be “smelliest” while pregnant or breast feeding & this kept me from smelling when major popular toxic store brands were not doing the trick.

I know everyone’s bodies are different but it’s worth a try, especially when it’s a healthier option.

Fabulous natural deodorant but...

Sadly it doesn't seem like the right fit for my body chemistry. :( I so bad wish it was. Everything about this deodorant from the ingredients down to the scent is wonderful. I started making the transition to a natural deodorant in January, 2021 after many friends have been using this with success. I noticed I sweated more easily when I was hot (normal) but I did not smell, nor did my clothing where my underarms were smell at the end of the day. That did not happen with commercial deodorants! So I was happy.

About 1 1/2 months after I made the transition I started to develop painful pimples/boils under my left underarm (but not right underarm, strange?). Sometimes 3 would appear at a time. After they cleared up I would have 2 good days of nothing and then they would develop again. It has been 4 months since and it still happens on a regular basis to where I can't continue using this product anymore. They are becoming too painful.

When I did my own research I found that coconut oil and baking soda can have an effect in clogging pours for some people and I think unfortunately one of them is me. I see there is a baking soda free option under the lemongrass scent, but it still has coconut oil as the second ingredient.

I do truly love everything else about this deodorant! Between the lemongrass and lavender citrus, the lavender citrus is my favorite. :-)

I will NEVER use anything else!!

I love this product! It keeps me smelling fresh literally all day. After about a year of using it, I have found I can actually skip some days without putting it on and absolutely no smell. I really think it has something to do with the organic ingredients in this item. Maybe not but you can't convince me otherwise.. haha.. if you haven't tried this, put it on your order. You will LOVE it!!

How is this possible?

My grandmother turned me on to this line of products and I have nothing to complain about. Everything has been amazing. The deodorant—how is it possible that this works SO WELL and is all natural!?! I’m in love! Have been recommending SBA to all my friends and family when they ask what I use. It’s a bit more expensive than I would like but it’s totally worth it.
